Arosis Long-Grain Carolina Rice

In Greece, Carolina rice is the go-to grain for traditional dishes like 'gemista' (stuffed tomatoes & peppers, stuffed squash) and 'dolmades' (stuffed leaves). It is also suitable for risotto, due to its creaminess and high absorbability. Arosis Carolina rice comes from Serres, in Northern Greece, where the river Strymon and the long, wet summers create ideal conditions for its cultivation. Since 1956, Arosis has worked with small farms that value sustainable farming with respect to the ecosystem.
