The olive tree has been sacred since ancient times and its fruit has given us life, health and lots of flavor. Anthos is proud to carry one of the best olive oils in the world: our Phileos PGI Laconia won the 2021 Silver Award, having already scored Gold in 2017 and Silver in 2020, at the most prestigious olive oil competition in the world: NYIOOC.
Phileos is produced exclusively from the famous Athinolia and Koroneiki varieties in certified fields that carry the PGI of Laconia, Greece. The olives are harvested and extracted by the local co-op and their extract is packed under strict conditions that ensure its freshness and nutritional value.
Containing all the antioxidant goodness of olive oil, Greek olives are delicious in salads, cooked dishes, or as appetizers; eaten whole, or crushed in a lovely tapenade.
