Easter just wouldn't be the same without decorating eggs! In the Greek tradition, red is the color of choice when dyeing eggs. You will often see a red egg placed on Tsoureki, our aromatic sweet loaf, to signify that it is not just an ordinary tsoureki, but a celebratory Easter loaf.
Another Easter custom is egg cracking duels, taking place at the Easter table among family and friends. Each person adopts an egg and gets cracking, starting with their neighbor, cracking both ends of the egg. The winner is the last egg standing!
